As a husband and father of three daughters, I've seen firsthand what community college can do. All three started their careers at community college, and two of them at American River College. I'm an Air Force kid who grew up in Orangevale, attended K-12 in the area, and graduated from San Juan High School. I'm running for Los Rios Community College Trustee, Area 2, to serve Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Foothill Farms, and part of Folsom.

For over two decades, I've led non-profits, including Ready To Work, The Salvation Army, and the Health Education Council, where I'm Deputy Director of External Affairs, Partnerships & Workforce Development. I've helped the formerly incarcerated, the homeless, and families reach college and careers in the trades.

I bring a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley, an MBA from CSU Monterey Bay, and a commitment to fiscal responsibility. As a Sacramento Housing & Redevelopment Agency Commissioner with 10,000 hours of community service, I know students thrive when they feel safe, heard, and supported.

Community college is the best deal in town for career success. I'll work with parents, faculty, and staff to keep it that way.

As your trustee, I will work to:

• Expand trades training, apprenticeships, and career pathways

• Strengthen 2-year and 4-year+ degree options

• Support faculty and staff who drive student success
